The Forest Preserve District manages three 18 hole golf courses, Atwood Homestead, Ledges,
and Macktown - which are open to the public from April until the end of October. Golfers
in Winnebago County enjoy excellent conditions at all three courses. County golf
premier cards which permit use of all three courses may be purchased at
District Headquarters. Daily rates are also available and can be purchased at the course
clubhouse. Individuals may also register private golf carts for annual use on courses
at District Headquarters.

- Consecutive starting time play days available for groups of less than 72 golfers.
- Shotgun start outings available for groups of 100 or more golfers.
- Nine-hole play days available on weekends after 3:00 PM.
